Northern Alliance Radio Network Updates

The Northern Alliance Radio Network logo contest is almost closed now -- we're picking the finalists right now, and shortly will post the five logos we like best. We'd like our readers to cast their vote for the best logo to represent the Northern Alliance. We'll post them up at our radio-show site in the next few days, so keep checking in to get a look at the fantastic graphics that we've received. Quite frankly, we're stunned at the quantity and the quality of the submissions! Big thanks to everyone who participated.

Also, on today's show, we were fortunate enough to have Stephen Hayes, the author of The Connection: How al Qaeda's Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America. Stephen gave our listeners terrific insight into the breadth of connections into Saddam's involvement with AQ and terrorism in general, which the media used to report as gospel but changed their tune after Bush's election.

My favorite part of our time with Stephen came at the start of the hour when The Big Trunk and Hindrocket introduced themselves, and Stephen noted that Power Line is one of his daily reads. (Hell, isn't it on everyone's daily list?) When I introduced myself prior to asking him my first question, Stephen responded, "Captain Ed? I didn't know you were going to be there! All of my favorite bloggers in one place!"

Everyone needs to go out and buy all of his books, right now.
